The Breeding Program is a speculative experimental design that focuses on the fusion of human and plant genes. Through AR-based interactive biological simulations, it constructs an imaginative scenario exploring the future of genetic engineering and the utilization of nature. The project aims to provoke deep reflections on genetic modification and its ethical implications, questioning the boundaries and possibilities of human intervention in nature.

Inspired by the textures of real plants and insects,
the model was imported into Procreate
for detailed texture painting.

When two acrylic-made human and plant cell slides are overlapped, AR scanning technology triggers the growth of a virtual plant, representing the gene-edited fusion of both organisms.
