Background Setting
Timeline :BC 2124

Environment: Extremely dry and scorching and famines

Records: According to the IPCC AR6 WG1 report, "the frequency and intensity of extreme heat have increased." In the future, atmospheric pollution and solar activity will lead to a rapid rise in global temperatures, causing the collapse of major ice sheets in Greenland and Antarctica. Floods will impact and regress human technology. Strong greenhouse gases like methane will rapidly release from the Arctic permafrost and subsea hydrates (called methane clathrates). The ocean will become saturated with carbon dioxide, unable to absorb more. By then, all anthropogenic carbon dioxide emissions will enter the atmosphere, creating an irreversible hot and dry environment. Ocean acidification will disrupt marine life, killing many types of marine organisms. The world will become extremely hot and dry, with reduced rainfall and most plants on the brink of extinction. The death of most plants, including animal feed like pasture, will lead to a livestock crisis, causing the food chain to begin to change and collapse.

virtual environment

Using VR technology, a future post-apocalyptic world is recreated, with environmental storytelling guiding the audience to experience the challenges of survival in such a scenario.Within the virtual space, scattered news clips and visual fragments come together to reveal the full picture of the disaster. The audience actively interprets the fragmented narrative, uncovering the sequence of events. This forms an interactive virtual gallery that vividly showcases the survival challenges of the future through an immersive approach.

Future Food

Through the study of the evolved organs of goats, we found that these evolutionary traits significantly enhance the goats' survival ability in extremely arid environments. Human consumption of these evolved organs, using the "form nourishes form" principle, is suggested to acquire corresponding adaptive abilities, improving survival chances in extreme environments.

global initiative

To address the crisis, achieve global consensus to prevent the spread and worsening of the crisis, protect the remaining flora and fauna, and maintain human survival hope. All countries jointly formulate declarations and laws.  Establish new beliefs to curb humanity's excessive and misleading desires and emotions towards meat, and reflect and reform social beliefs and habits related to non-human animals.
